MASTER-BCF Refractometer – Density and freezing point determination

The MASTER-BCF Refractometer is a handheld refractometer from ATAGO that features an exclusive scale for determining the density of battery fluid and checking the freezing point of ethylene and propylene glycol. The refractometer is equipped with a new material that is resistant to salt and acidic samples.

The MASTER-BCF refractometer has an exclusive scale for measuring battery fluid density and controlling the freezing temperature of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol used as antifreeze mixtures in cars, as thermal catalyst in solar energy systems and for other industrial applications. MASTER-BCF is the successor to the conventional BC-3E. The scale is graduated in °F. New material is used (durable for salt and acid tests) and it is a plastic body unit.
