ESG is short for “Environmental, Society and Corporate Governance” or translated to “Environment, Society and Governance”.

At Food Diagnostics, we are constantly working to reduce our environmental footprint on the planet and to create a corporate culture of diversity and social responsibility, it has always been part of our DNA.

In the early summer of 2023, we started a project to provide the data that our customers will demand, as many of them have to submit their ESG reports on January 1, 2025.

We will use the GHG protocol which consists of 3 scopes:

Scope 1 – the direct emissions from our operations, e.g. fuel, machinery, refrigerants etc.
Scope 2 – the indirect emissions, heat, energy, water etc.
Scope 3 – the indirect emissions from our value chain, e.g. business travel, distribution of goods etc.
