Food Diagnostics launches own agar plate production in 2025

Food Diagnostics launches pioneering local production of agar plates in advanced ISO 7 cleanroom to drive sustainability and quality by 2025

Grenaa, Denmark– Food Diagnostics, a leading player in laboratory products, proudly announces that the company will start production of agar plates in 2025. This decision is a result of the increasing focus on sustainability and quality in the food and pharma industry.

Tailor-made production of microbiological media

Food Diagnostics offers production of microbiological media tailored to your specific needs. In our newly built ISO 7 cleanroom, with our fully automated process equipment, we can produce exactly the media you want, based on your specifications. With over 20 years of experience in microbiology, we know what it takes.  Our choice of process equipment ensures that we deliver high quality. Together with our well-trained staff with academic backgrounds, you can be sure that we understand your needs and produce to the highest quality standards.

Flexible packaging and OEM options

The products are packed in quality materials and can be made as OEM. The outer packaging (boxes) is designed to appear neutral and it is only the sticker itself that indicates the manufacturer and what is in the boxes. Initially, we produce 10 sheet packs that are packed in 20 or 120 boxes, but our flexible production equipment allows us to make customer-specific package sizes.

Advanced production in ISO 7 cleanrooms

The production itself takes place in an advanced ISO 7 cleanroom and production will follow ISO 11133 and GLP according to ISO 7218 to ensure that our agar plates are both reliable and efficient for laboratory use. Traceability is a natural thing for us, we print essential information directly on the side of the products, where many other manufacturers print e.g. at the bottom of the petri dishes and this can cause problems when reading.
