Enzytec Chloride is a test kit designed to measure chloride ions in samples. The chloride ions in the sample react with mercury and release a corresponding amount of thiocyanate ions, which together with ferric ions (Fe3+) produce a red complex. The intensity color of the complex is proportional to the concentration of chloride in the sample. The kit contains 200 tests on manual photometer and 2000 tests on automated system. Wavelength: 500 nm, linearity: 2.8 – 4.2 g/L (80 – 120 mmol/L).
