Enzytec Sodium is a test kit for the enzymatic determination of sodium using a sodium-dependent beta-galactosidase (GAL) in the presence of ONPG (o-nitrophenyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside) as substrate. The increase in absorbance makes it possible to assess the concentration of sodium in the sample at 405 nm. By using the standards in the kit traceable to the NIST 909b reference material, it is possible to create a 2-point calibration curve. Plotting on the calibration curve absorbance values and concentration for each individual sample can be determined. Linearity: up to 4 g/L. Material for 400 tests on automated system.
