The absorbent buffer is an extraction buffer that can be used for processing food samples in Bioavid lateral flow allergen tests. It is especially recommended for samples containing polyphenols (e.g. coffee, cocoa, red wine) or samples containing large amounts of oil. It is also suitable for neutralizing samples with a strongly acidic or basic pH (e.g. orange juice or wine).
The absorbent buffer is also suitable for extracting other foods; this must be validated by the user before use.

Absorbent Buffer, Bioavid is an absorbent buffer kit especially suitable for the preparation of samples that contain polyphenols and are strongly colored (for example coffee, cocoa, red wine), as well as samples with a high or low pH. The buffer bleaches or neutralizes solutions to avoid false positive results (e.g. strongly colored juices).
This buffer is for use with bioavid lateral flow tests.
