RIDASCREEN® β-Lactoglobulin is a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the quantitative analysis of β-lactoglobulin in hydrolyzed milk products, including hypoallergenic baby food. The assay is calibrated with hydrolyzed β-lactoglobulin control samples; standards consist of natural β-lactoglobulin. The assay detects natural and processed protein and fragments thereof (during heating of milk the natural β-lactoglobulin is partially denatured).
