Water treatment
ECA is a liquid with a powerful disinfecting and cleaning effect that is created from 2 sustainable raw materials; water and salt on site. In short, it is a machine that uses ordinary salt (NaCl) and tap water (H2O) to create a liquid that can both clean and disinfect in the same operation. This is a groundbreaking solution that is efficient, economical, sustainable, environmentally friendly and better for staff to work with than the synthetic chemicals used today.
Areas of application:
Cleaning and maintenance
ECA can be used for virtually any cleaning task at a water utility, from tools, utility areas, pipe breaks, tank emptying, biofilm removal and more.
Disinfection
ECA can be used for virtually all disinfection tasks at a water utility, from tools, utility areas, pipe breaks, tank emptying, well drilling and biofilm inactivation etc.
Fog disinfection
ECA can be used for mist disinfection of rooms and tanks to ensure disinfection in even the most inaccessible areas
Water disinfection
It is permitted to use ECA to ensure that drinking water does not contain undesirable microorganisms, e.g. by using secondary water or by boil orders etc.
Legionella prevention
ECA in very small amounts in the domestic hot water is effective in preventing Legionella growth.
Hand disinfection
ECA is approved for hand disinfection.
Laundry
ECA can replace traditional washing powder in washing machines for washing work clothes to ensure they are not only clean, but also bacteria and odor free.
Why choose eca?
ECA is therefore a multifunctional cleaning and disinfection agent that can be used anywhere. The key benefits are:
- Reduction of cleaning chemistry costs (ECA costs approx. 0.01 kr./liter to produce)
- Improving the working environment (ECA has no hazard labels and does not require the use of protective equipment)
- Greener profile (No synthetic chemicals, no transportation of chemicals or disposal of plastic containers)
- Improved ESG accounting (ECA has a CO2e footprint of approximately 0.0008 kgCO2/liter)
- Cleaner area (No customer complaints about bad smell or illness)
- Fewer sick days (less sick leave due to chemistry-related problems such as headaches)
