MASTER-53M is a good alternative when the water-repellent function is not a priority and temperature compensation must be done manually. MASTER-53M is made of metal and MASTER-53PM is made of plastic. The specifications are exactly the same. For salty and acidic samples, choose the plastic body, MASTER-53PM. For the model with automatic temperature compensation, choose MASTER-53α.
